Huawei ECG App has passed the EU CE medical device certification, and WATCH GT 3 Pro will launch ECG measurement function in Europe
On September 1, Huawei ECG App (Huawei ECG analysis prompt software) obtained the EU CE MDR medical device certification, and obtained the entry permit to the markets of EU and EFTA countries. At present, Huawei ECG App has obtained the market access qualification of 33 European countries. In the future, consumers in Europe will be able to use ECG App in HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro for single lead ECG measurement.
In response to this news, Warable, a foreign technology website, believes that Huawei, as one of the giants in the smart watch industry, has obtained the CE certification for its ECG App, which is a great improvement to Huawei's development ambition and enables it to compete with Apple and Samsung internationally.
Equipped with high-performance ECG sensor, the heart health guard is upgraded again

Through cooperation with 301 Hospital, Huawei has launched a heart health research project and a sleep apnea research project. Based on WATCH GT 3 Pro high-performance ECG and PPG sensors, it can fine identify atrial fibrillation, ventricular premature beats, atrial premature beats and other cardiac problems, and can also intelligently identify sleep, HRV, blood oxygen, heart rate and other information. It can fuse multiple parameters to judge, screen sleep apnea risks, and provide layered and graded improvement suggestions. In addition, based on multiple physiological parameters of Huawei WATCH GT 3 Pro, Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and 301 Hospital jointly launched research in the field of respiratory health, which can identify the risk of lung infection.
When Huawei WATCH GT 3 Pro came into the market in China, Huawei ECG App had already obtained the national secondary medical device certification, and obtained good market feedback.
